The Astra Research team has always been involved in optimization, whether it’s structural optimization, topological optimization, or optimization of system performance. The tools used can be varied, but certainly the use of Design of Experiment (DoE) algorithms allows us to adequately address and solve all engineering problems. We can optimize new or existing components/systems, evaluating each time the effort required for any changes needed to achieve the set goal (whether it’s reducing mass, increasing performance, limiting deformation, or reducing loads), working with the client to propose solutions compatible with their production technologies and capabilities.
