CFD / CFD Simulation

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation analysis provides crucial insights into various applications involving the processing of fluids (such as within circuits or their components) or the interaction of fluids with mechanical components (for aerodynamic aspects, for instance).

The depth of the analyses should align with their intended purposes and is proportional to the complexity of the model. It is the responsibility of the analyst to assess the implementation of thermal phenomena (thermofluid dynamics), the use of different fluids or phases (multi-fluid/multi-phase problems), the incorporation of moving components (moving mesh or moving reference frame), the influence of transient phenomena (requiring transient analyses), or the incorporation of special materials (such as porous materials).
